Audio Stories

Before television, some of the most memorable stories were told through radio dramas. Growing up listening to old recordings of these productions sparked my interest in immersive audio storytelling and the way sound alone can create atmosphere, emotion, and imagination. Inspired by the renewed popularity of audiobooks and narrative podcasts, I’m interested in bringing elements of the classic “radio drama” into modern audio production through narration, voice acting, original music, and detailed Foley sound design to create unique experiences for both fictional and real-world storytelling.

The Hobbit - in the Dungeon of the Elven King.

This scene recreates the escape from the Elven King’s halls in The Hobbit, where Bilbo helps the dwarves flee through the underground river hidden inside barrels. I used environmental sound design, voice acting from friends and family, music, and ambience to capture the suspense, movement, and scale of the underground dungeon and waterways. Inspired by The Hobbit radio drama by The Mind’s Eye.
